On to the gifts:
First up, the stroller/car seat. My grandma got this for us, "animal" themed of course. I love that it is a stroller, car seat combo and will grow with Hayden. I believe we can use it, even when he's a toddler, the stroller part of course, not the car seat :) Mema got Hayden a baby snow suit and two books - Ten Little Ladybugs (her CB handle was Ladybug) and Jungle Book, since his mom loves animals :)

My aunt Kathy got us the swing, onesies stickers and a book
Dear friends of the family - Linda McCloskey, Colleen Roth, Carrie Sieglinger and Erin King got us the Sleeper and Jungle Playmat. The sleeper is suppose to be the best out there...I'm excited to see :)

My Aunt Kathy had this made for Hayden and gave it to me at my cousin Ashley's baby shower. Ashley's friend made one for her baby and my Aunt, Ashley's mom, had her make Hayden one :)
From my Great Aunt Joan:
From my sister - a car seat cover, which comes with a matching lion hat :)
The friend that made the cake, Edie Lander, got us all these wonderful clothes, blanket and rattle:

The ladies I use to work for at the Forest Nook in Cook Forest got the following, they were unable to attend, but dropped off the gift and sent a beautiful card:Pattie Schmade, Jackie Waleny and her daughter Taylor, more dear friends of the family, got us the bedding set. It is quite extensive, so the pictures are few. I have taken it out of the bag to look at it and it is adorable!
From Gerry Weaver, I sang with her in the choir at St. Joe's in Lucinda for many, many years
Marge Bauer, a lady who sang in the choir at St. Joe's with me also, made this beautiful baby blanket:
Kathy Weaver, a former work colleague of my mom's and a friend, got us the baby book, a blanket and a regular book
MJ Trice, another dear friend of the family, got us this very cool bath tub scooper (the large monkey in the picture), baby wipes and a tag blanket
Sue Baumcratz, one of my relatives and a neighbor, got us a baby monitor and book
Janet Snyder, my first babysitter, made this blanket
Ruth George, Lauren's mom, got Hayden these figurines for the nursery and gifted money
Ben's grandma, Alberta Cole, handmade this gorgeous blanket. As I stated in the previous blog, she was unable to make the shower, but wanted us to have a gift to open from her.
My cousin Matt, Ashley's brother, surprised us and sent the following in the mail. Ben is particularly happy with the "mustachifier", which was his contribution to the baby registry. Guess what Hayden's first pacifier will be?
Ben's mom, Cyndi Johnson, who also lives in Albuquerque and was unable to make the shower, sent the following gifts and a gift card for our crib. We have the crib at our place, however, it is not put together since we are planning on moving before he is born. The crib comes with a changing table and is convertible for as Hayden gets bigger.

My mom got this Noah's Ark for the nursery, she gave it to me a few months before the shower. Her and my dad will be getting us another big item before the baby is born. She wanted to wait and see what we needed after the shower.
Ben's Aunt Kim and Cousin Stephanie got us the diaper bag, rattles, a book, an outfit and baby essentials - diapers, wipes & Destin
The Price is Right Items - Can you guess the total for all items without going over?
The "decorations" from the shower - my mom got all of these for Hayden. His first stuffed animals.
We came up with a special idea for the guest book, we used actual books that will be for Hayden's library. My mom got these and we have been reading a book to Hayden each night before bed. Not just these books below, but all the books we've gotten for him.
